MEMBERSHIP
Introduction:
Like other Orders, our standards for membership require that the individual be a Christian, at least age 21, proposed/endorsed by two members, subscribes to the aims and purpose of the Order, possesses integrity, and is a solid member of the community who is active in both civil and church/charitable endeavors. We are always seeking outstanding individuals to join our ranks.
There is a one-time Passage Fee (which accompanies the application form) that covers in-processing, formal insignia of the Order, a miniature medal of the Order, lapel pin, Official Diploma, signed by the Prince and you first year’s oblation. The applicant’s Sponsor will provide the amount of money you will be required to provide with the Application.
Once you become a member of the Order, there is an Annual Oblation (dues) charged each member. This oblation supports the overall efforts of the Order and its charitable donations. Members may also be requested to make an annual charitable donation in support of the Exarchate’s charities.
In return for your membership application and commitment to the Order, the Master of the Order confers, through the Exarch of the Exarchate of the USA, a knighthood on those men and women who have taken this important step to “Celebrate their Christianity”.
At the Annual Investiture Ceremony applicants shall be inducted as either a Knight (KCM) or Dame of the Order (DCM). These ceremonies are very formal and reminiscent of such events held in “the days of old, when Knights were bold”.
To culminate this wonderful experience, newly knighted Knights and Dames share a formal dinner with the existing Knights and Dames of the Order. These ceremonies are always held at a very prestigious and elegant venue in the Washington, DC area.

The following documents and information must accompany your signed Application documents(see attachments below):
A copy of a document that demonstrates that you are a Christian. This can be a Baptismal Certificate, a First Holy Communion Certificate, or a Confirmation Certificate, or a Marriage Certificate. A letter from your Church that states that you are a member in good standing will also suffice.
A Biography or CV that is up-to-date. This does not have to be a complete history of your life, but it should summarize you most recent work, and activities.
Two (2) passport sized color photographs. These may be clipped to the actual Membership Form and the Order shall properly attached them to your forms.
A personal Check or Money Order out to OCM. (Your Sponsor shall provide you the exact amount when you contact him/her to advise that you have all of the necessary documents.
