Mission

Mission: Ordo Sancti Constantini Magni (OCM) is a contemporary spiritual Order promoting the Constantinian ecumenical Christian tradition. The chivalric spirit does not depend on the period, and chivalric virtues are not bound to sword and armor. The chivalric duty to help has never depended on nationality, confession, or form of government. Chivalric thinking and principles are universal and will therefore maintain their values even in modern times. It must recognize contemporary religious, social, and political realities.

We are an organization which aspires to the unity of the Church that existed before the separation of Anno Domini 1054, and to the collaboration between men at peace, to Christian love, tolerance, and chivalrous conduct. Such an organization has a mission to fulfill in the future. Therefore, we provide assistance around the world to Christians who are suffering from poverty, prejudice, and religious persecution.

We accomplish this through financial support to the Patriarch, through the International Order, charitable endeavors internationally and through the Bailiwicks of the Exarchate which support local charities throughout the United States of America.

Organizational Values: As an organization that is founded in principals of Knighthood we promote good deeds and bond in our mutual Christianity. Our shared values come from The Lord, Our Creator. Thus we have history that comes from centuries of Knights doing good acts. Our ability to provide assistance around the world stems from the fact that we do provide substantial financial support to a number of projects supported by the Patriarch internationally. We also support national projects through our regional organizations called Bailiwicks, which are located throughout the United States.

Charitable Acts: Through our Patriarch, His Beatitude Theodoros II, Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria and All of Africa together with the Master, His Serene Highness Friedrich, Duke and Prince of Beaufort-Spontin, we support their work internationally and nationally.

Chivalrous Acts: As individuals and as a group, both men and women, we continue these following acts and traditions of chivalric virtue: bravery, courtesy, honor, gallantry, humility, sacrifice, faithfulness, and graciousness in all that we do or attempt to do.

Meetings and Events: We celebrate our Christian chivalric traditions at our Annual Investiture and Formal Gala held in the Washington, DC metro area. It is during this formal event where we invest our newly approved Knights and Dames, and recognize others who continue to excel as members of the Exarchate and Order.
